I listened to a podcast recently that felt like the host was speaking directly to me and to the experiences I write about in my book. He was talking about coping with grief whilst still carrying on, because you have to. And then he said something that stopped me in my tracks: he described it as carrying the weight of what you've lost, whilst still carrying the weight of what you're building. Face Your Front
“Facing your front” means focusing on your own path. Not looking left or right or watching what others are doing and measuring yourself against them. It means putting your energy into what you’re building, not what others appear to have already built. It’s about trusting that what is meant for you will not pass you by and, recognising that your journey is not supposed to look like anyone else’s.
