I feel like I'm evolving rather than arriving, standing on the edge of a real shift. I'm now working in a way that's in true service to my future self and the legacy I want to leave in the world.

I listened to a podcast recently that felt like the host was speaking directly to me and to the experiences I write about in my book. He was talking about coping with grief whilst still carrying on, because you have to. And then he said something that stopped me in my tracks: he described it as carrying the weight of what you've lost, whilst still carrying the weight of what you're building. That line hit me like a ton of bricks. It named something I had lived but never quite put into words.

This half-term, I’ve been lost in two books that have genuinely shifted something in me. I started with Rachel Rodgers’ We Should All Be Millionaires, which led me to Gay Hendricks’ The Big Leap. Between them, they’ve sparked a lot of reflection about where I’m really operating from - and where I could be.
